The JavaScript OR (||) is a logical operator in JavaScript and Khan Academy's Processing JavaScript environment that returns a true value as long as at least one of the conditions are true. An example is if(x === 5 || x < 3){...}, where if just x === 5 or x < 3 or both values are true the program returns a true value.
