Lara Morgan says she can sell anything. So entrepreneurship probably seemed natural for her. Pacific Direct started by selling commodity items like sewing kits and shower caps, but quickly moved into upscale stock items for luxury hotels. Ms. Morgan credits her boldness to "ask the dumb questions" as an integral piece of her success in business.
